Professional Growth & Development Committee

Responsibilities: Defines and shapes the education agenda for AAGP. The activities for which the committee is responsible include (a) advancing the education agenda of AAGP, (b) ensuring that all professional development meets the education agenda of AAGP, and (c) ensuring that all professional development is high quality. To that end, the Committee reviews the Call for Conference Presenters, reviews submission, and sets the conference menu of presentations. The committee is currently developing new professional development opportunities for AAGP members and is designing improved conference evaluation methods to ensure the annual conference meets the goals and expectations of our members.

Review competencies and skills for the GPC exam to assure our Professional  Development is in alignment with the competencies.

Develop professional growth and development opportunities for chapters.


Time Commitment:
This active committee requires members to spend about six hours per month attending committee meetings and working on committee tasks.
