At its annual meeting on December 13, 2007, members unanimously approved the proposed slate of officers. Serving in 2008 are President John Tidwell, Vice President Kimberly Richardson, Secretary Patrick McCurry and Treasurer Dwight Downs.

At its annual meeting on December 13, 2007, AAGP Alabama Chapter members voted unanimously to increase its meeting schedule to six meetings per year. Starting on January 17, it will meet on the third Thursday every other month.

"We just thought that members would benefit more from this change," said Kimberly Richarson, Vice-president and membership coordinator of the Chapter. "More meetings allow the occasional absence to be less of an impact. And it gives our members better opportunity to hear our great speakers."

Meeting times will usually be during the lunch hour, but this is subject to change. The 2008 schedule of dates follows:
